617 St. Peter Street is a contributing structure in the Jackson Ward Historic District listed on the Virginia Register and the National Register of Historic Places. Part of a streetscape of Victorian dwellings, it’s design dates it to the late 19th century. A Victorian townhouse, this frame house retains its original porch with Eastlake details and bracketed cornice with dentils and pierced panels. The property was vacant from 1995 to 2014, until Historic Richmond was able to purchase the property from the City of Richmond and the property was restored to a single family residence by our partners, Ark Construction & Development.
