Cheryl Greenday, Finance Director

Cheryl attended Virginia Commonwealth University and holds a BS in Accounting. She has worked with non-profit organizations for over 15 years in financial management and strategic planning. In addition to working part-time with HRF, she provides accounting services to the Valentine Richmond History Center and APVA Preservation Virginia through a joint partnership between the three organizations. She joined the HRF staff in March 1999.
Amy Swartz, Director of Preservation Services

Amy attended Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY and Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. She holds a BFA in Interior Design and an MFA in Historic Preservation. She first started working for HRF in 1999, shortly after she moved to Richmond from Atlanta. In 2001, she traded presevation for child rearing, and after a 6 year hiatus from the professional world, she is back on a part time basis. Amy is thrilled to have the opportunity to assist in the preservation needs of HRF properties, as well as those of her community.
Joanne McDonald, Paralegal, Preservation Assistant

Joanne has worked as a real estate paralegal in the Richmond area for thirty years. She was most recently employed at CowanGates, P. C. for fifteen years. She holds a BS degree in history and political science. She is excited to have the opportunity to use her skills as a paralegal with her love of historic properties.
Ann Winchell, Development Assistant

Ann has worked in the non profit arena for three years after her reentry into the work force. Her academic concentration at Valdosta State College in communications will greatly benefit the HRF staff. She was previously employed by Saint Gertrude High School. Her exceptional people skills along with her love of Richmond will bridge your interest in HRF's commitment to the Richmond preservation.
