Richmond,
VA is host to many defining moments in our nation's history, and
we have a wide variety of architectural styles that tell our story.
HRF invite s the Girl Scouts to learn about these valuable, beautiful
historic structures and HRF's efforts to preserve them. HRF has
prepared 4 different self-guided scavenger hunts of historic areas
in Richmond that, once completed, will earn points towards the"Discover
Historic Richmond" patch.
Each
scavenger hunt comes with a packet of information that includes
a map of the historic area, detailed chart of various architectural
styles, HRF's Guide to Historic Richmond,
and the scavenger hunt test sheet to fill out and return to HRF
to earn the patch. Girls must complete TWO of the four scavenger
hunts to earn the patch.
Scavenger
hunts include the following historic areas. To download the entire
scavenger hunt packet, please click on the corresponding document.
