28th Annual Court End Christmas

Sunday, December 14, 12:00 – 5:00 pm
Monumental Church, 1224 E. Broad Street
 

Ten historic downtown sites host a free holiday open house, featuring tours, living history and reenactments, gift shops, children’s activities, refreshments, carriage rides, music, and special guest appearances.

2014 participating sites include the Valentine and the Wickham House, the John Marshall House, the Virginia State Capitol, the Virginia Executive Mansion, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, the Museum and White House of the Confederacy, Monumental Church, the Egyptian Building, the Beers House, and St. John’s Church.

Monumental Church Schedule of Events:

12:00-1:00 Tours of Church
1:00-2:00 Jimmy Dameron, Jr. playing guitar and singing holiday favorites.
2:00-3:00 Debbie Phillips of Richmond Discoveries will portray Eliza Poe, mother of Edgar Allen Poe, and share her life story and period Christmas music.
3:00-5:00 Church open house with refreshments.
