Virginia House 4301 Sulgrave Avenue
Virginia House, 1119, rebuilt 1926,
west wing built 1926

Tudor. Built by Alexander and Virginia Weddell. The Weddells purchased an 1119 priory, slated for demolition in Warwick, England, and had it shipped to Virginia and rebuilt stone by stone. The west wing is a replica of Sulgrave Manor, ancestral home of George Washington. Charles Gillette designed the gardens. Now owned by the Virginia Historical Society. Wilton House, 1750

Colonial. Built by William Randolph III. In 1933, it was moved from its original river-front location in eastern Henrico county to the west end of Richmond. It is the headquarters of the Virginia Society of Colonial Dames. Open for tours. For more information call 804.282.5936.

Agecroft 4305 Sulgrave Avenue
Agecroft, late 15th century, rebuilt 1925

Tudor. Located next to Virginia House, this mansion was built in Lancasshire, England in the late 15th century. It was brought to Virginia by T.C.Williams, Jr. and reassembled in 1925. The interior contains original handcarved oak paneling and furnishings from the Tudor and Stuart periods. Open to the public. 804.353.4241.
