Junior Board
The Junior Board is a group of individuals under the age of 40 who support the efforts of the Historic Richmond Foundation in its mission to champion the preservation of the varied elements that give the Richmond, Virginia metropolitan area its unique historic character. They partner with HRF in preserving the vitality of Richmond's distinctive heritage, with resulting economic and educational benefits to the public. The group aims to encourage interest and involvement from fellow young professionals and history enthusiasts in HRF, as well as cultivate potential members of the organization's "big" Board in the future.
Members of the Junior Board meet regularly to identify aspects of select HRF projects and events that they can spearhead as a group, and in turn be a contributing resource to the organization. The group also hosts Quoits and Cocktails, an annual social event held at a historic site and extended to the Junior Board's friends, family and community.
